Units are made floorless, so all you have to do is drop in a timber floor and you are good to go.

Why purchase a tilt fridge slide?

Not sure if a tilt fridge slide is what you need? Well, one of the great advantages of owning a 4WD, Ute or truck is that you can take off for days and not see anyone for miles! Making a camp, sitting beside the fire and just enjoying being outdoors are some of the joys of getting away on your own or with friends and loved ones.

However, one of the essential pieces of gear you’ll need on the road is a fridge or fridge/freezer which means you also need a fridge slide. Of course, you can get by without a fridge slide but that means you’ll be struggling to lift a fully laden fridge from the back of your Ute, 4WD or truck whenever you need drinks or food. If you can’t lift it out of your vehicle, then you can always reach up or stand on something to gain access.

That’s because whilst a standard fridge slide allows you to pull the fridge free of your vehicle to make access easier, a tilt slide pivots the fridge downwards so it’s much easier to access. How does it work?

The Dunn and Watson tilt fridge slide makes accessing your fridge or freezer effortless. All you need to do is unlock the slide by releasing the two triggers on the front of each slide and pull the fridge towards you until it locks into position when fully extended. This locking feature is supplied by our heavy duty 227kg locking drawer slides that ensure your fridge is secure in both the fully extended and fully closed positions. 

Once the fridge is locked in the fully extended position, you just need to pivot it downwards and it locks into place again. Once you’ve finished with your fridge, the gas struts help you lift it back into a horizontal position, then you just push it backwards until it locks into the closed position. That’s it! You’re good to go!
